Privacy Policy

• Identity & contact: your name, mobile number, email and the address used for collection or delivery.
• Prescriptions & health data: the prescription images you upload and the medicines dispensed to you. This is sensitive personal data and is treated as such — see section 2.
• Order & payment data: your bills, the daily amount agreed, the payments taken and what is still left to pay, plus the reference for any daily payment instruction held by our payment partner. We do not store your UPI PIN, full card number or bank password.
• Bank SMS (optional): if you grant permission, the app reads the bank and transaction SMS on your phone to build your money passbook and to work out a daily amount your earnings support. See section 3.
• Email signals (optional): if you connect your email, we read only finance-related emails. See section 4.
• Usage & device data: app interactions, device identifiers and log data used to operate and secure the service.
• Conversations: your chats with our in-app assistant and with our store staff about your orders.

Prescription images and the record of medicines dispensed to you are health data. They are encrypted at rest and in transit, and are accessible only to the registered pharmacist and store staff who need them to price, dispense and account for your order, and to the limited engineering staff who maintain the systems.

We keep dispensing records for the period required by pharmacy and tax law. We do not sell health data, do not share it for advertising, and do not use it to train general-purpose AI models.

In India, banks tell you about your money almost only by SMS, and someone who earns daily has no payslip or statement that does the job instead. If you grant SMS permission, the app reads only bank and transaction messages. We use them for two purposes, and we tell you about both before you grant permission:

1. To build your passbook — money in, money out, balance, a safe daily spending amount, and reminders for bills that are coming up.
2. To work out how much medicine you can order at once — and a daily amount your own earnings genuinely support, so we never ask you to pick a number.

How your messages are handled:

• Your OTPs and personal messages are ignored — only financial SMS are looked at.
• Account numbers, names and OTPs are masked on your own phone, right there, before anything is sent.
• Only the masked text is sent securely to Bell AI. Your raw messages and OTPs never leave your device.
• It is encrypted in transit and at rest, never sold, and never used for ads.

This is optional. You can decline it, or withdraw permission later, and the app still works — and you can ask us to delete what we hold at any time.

If you choose to connect your email, Bell AI reads only finance-related emails (such as bank and card statements, transaction alerts, and insurance or tax documents) to surface reminders and insights. Your personal emails and one-time passwords are not used. Connecting email is entirely optional.

• What we use: details extracted from finance-related emails (amount, merchant/sender, dates, statement and renewal information).
• How it is handled: transmitted securely (encrypted in transit) to PUMP.AI PRIVATE LIMITED’s servers and stored encrypted at rest.
• Why we use it: solely to provide in-app features — spending insights, budgeting help, and payment reminders. It is never used for advertising or to train generalised AI/ML models.
• Google API Limited Use: Bell AI’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, do not transfer it except to provide or improve the feature, and do not use it for advertising.
• Your control: you can disconnect it anytime in the app or in your Google Account, and request deletion via our deletion request form.

• to verify your prescription and dispense the correct medicines safely;
• to prepare your bill, take the agreed daily payments and keep your account with us;
• to keep the dispensing and tax records the law requires us to keep;
• to suggest a daily payment amount that fits how you earn, where you have opted in;
• to provide support, prevent fraud and secure the service;
• to improve the quality of the service.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We share information only as needed to operate the store — with our payment partner Cashfree Payments and your bank to collect payments and issue refunds; with the registered pharmacist and store staff handling your order; with delivery personnel where local delivery applies (address and order details only, never your prescription); and with messaging, hosting and analytics providers under contract. We may also disclose information where required by law or by a regulator. All such parties are required to handle your data securely.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and for as long as pharmacy, tax and accounting law requires us to keep dispensing and transaction records. When no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data.

You can access and update your profile in the app, withdraw consent for optional data (SMS or email) at any time, and request deletion of your account. Where you owe us money for medicines already dispensed, or where the law requires us to keep a dispensing record, we may retain the minimum information needed for that purpose.

The service is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian may order medicines for a child in their care.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Please review it periodically.
